This is class is designed for those who are experienced yogi's that want a little more movement and challenge. A typical class starts with a gentle warm-up with breath focus, followed by sun salutations or a flow movement. After the body is warmed, we move on to standing poses and some balancing poses. We then move to the floor for stretching and slowing down. Relaxation is integral to yoga. We try to spend a minimum of 7 minutes relaxing at the end of each class.
The yoga of healing from the inside out! What a gift for the body. Possible benefits include relef from emotional and physical stress and fatigue, healing from injuries, anxiety and depression and help with traumatic life events.
This class offers new students, or ones that just want to move a little more slowly, a chance to experience yoga at their own pace. This class focuses on a safe introduction to some of the core yoga poses and begins to link poses and movement with the breath. More time is spent on education as well as feeling the body. A great place to enjoy your yoga in a non-competitive environment.
